Haven’t posted in a while, been away from the track lately and on holidays. Anyway, one thing that my close friends know is my love affair with Z series from Nissan. I’ve owned both a 280ZX and a Z32 300ZX and I loved them both. One day I’ll get my mits on another Z’d, the dream being a 240Z. Anyway I digress. I spotted the Unique Autosport 300ZX out at the WTAC earlier this year. I’ve seen this track monster around for years but I’ve never had a chance to shoot it till now.

Last weekend saw Eastern Creek host the Shannon’s Nationals Dial Before You Dig 6 Hour. Cracking race that went the entire 6 hours without a single safety car appearance. Can’t say the same for my gear with one of my lenses suffering from stuck aperture blades which unfortunately dampened my experience a little, but anyway, the show must go on. Here are a few photos from the day, and the rest on flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/21859683@N03/sets/72157624539197344

Recently I had a chance to shoot this stunning R34. It was great fun and I was fairly happy with the final result. We also did a rig shot, however I’m not too pleased with it. I learner a lot with the rig so we will be revisiting it next month with the R34 but I’ll post up what we ended up with anyway.

Not happy with this rig photo but it’s better than some of my past attempts. The probably I have been having is with stability and distance of the boom. Hopefully next month I will have the boom resolved and some far better shots! Fingers crossed.

Had a chance to shoot Thinnakone’s sexy drift prepped Nissan Sylvia S15. This car is very sleek. I’m still working on a full car rig shot we took but it might be sometime before that’s ready. Anyway here are a few more shots from the day.
